"The Path Through Darkness"
Performer: Phillip Russomanno
Music: "Ghost on the Mend" by Magic City Hippies.
My poem is an encapsulation of my journey of this course. The synopsis is as followed: "In The Path Through Darkness, I set out on an inward journey that echoes the winding paths of life, leaving behind the familiar comfort of light to venture into shadowed, unknown territory. As I travel deeper, the once-friendly landscape shifts, becoming challenging and unwelcoming. Doubts creep in, and I’m tempted to turn back to the safety of what I know. But ultimately, I choose to press forward, embracing the mysteries that lie ahead. Through this journey, I discovered that true growth and enlightenment are only possible by facing and moving through the darkness. This personal path of resilience and curiosity leads me to a deeper understanding of clarity and peace, proving that sometimes the only way to find light is to journey through the shadows."

"Better Left Behind"
Performer: Emily Cross
Choreographer: Emily Cross
Music: "Better Than" by Lake Street Dive
A story of outgrowing situations that once felt comfortable, but no
longer serve us. This piece depicts a story of love and loss; the
feeling of supposed security and support leaving you. Realizing that you
were not the one left behind, but the one that outgrew the ones that
left. A story of growth bearing fruit and finding your own destiny.

The cosmos weaves together the forces of nature, guiding each element: earth, air, fire, and water toward harmony. Though each element strives for dominance, clashing and struggling for power, a deeper cosmic force orchestrates their movements, driving them toward equilibrium.
